Space
When we set out to create One Bam Bird, we knew we needed to make the space incredibly special. We like to call it “sticky”: hard to leave and hopefully very easy to come back.
The Tables
We have four square tables in the main open area and two round tables in the back.
Automatic table…yep. We do have one of the fancy schmancy automatic mahjong tables. For a small extra fee, you can book this for your group as well. Warning: You will likely never want to go back to hand mixing your tiles ever again.
The Games
We can’t wait for you to visit what we lovingly refer to as our “Tile Candy Shop” where you can pick which tiles, cards, mats, dice and more tickle your fancy that day. It’s like shopping but better. We have sets ranging from the most traditional to modern to humorous. We even have a birthday set and mat if you happen to be celebrating! Use of all tiles, cards, etc. are included in the price of your reservation.
And…there is little we love more than when people bring their special tiles and games with them to the space! Our only requirement? You have to let us admire them and tell us their story.
Food and Drink
Included in any and all reservations, our guests have access to coffee, tea, a variety of bubbly drinks (water and soda) and what we like to call “spa snacks” (think nuts, candy, crackers and other munchables!)
In addition, we will have a small selection of premium snacks and drinks for sale (canned mocktails, juices, protein snacks and more) to power you through your games.
After that, it’s up to you! You and your group are more than welcome to bring in lunch, dinner or fancy snacks to share with each other from anywhere! You will have access to a fridge if needed to store as well as a microwave should you need to rewarm.
Think of it as the best office break room EVER.
For events, we welcome caterers and outside food.
Liquor
We do not allow liquor at One Bam Bird. The only exception is if you hire a licensed bartender for a private event. It’s sad…but think how your liver will thank you! And we make a mean mocktail.
Capacity
Our Minnetonka space is small but mighty. We can accommodate up to 25 people at a time.
Parking
Our parking is a dream. We know this is no small thing in Minnesota. There is a large surface lot for our strip mall with plenty of parking for everyone.
Accessibility
Our space is handicap accessible. We have one ADA bathroom in the space for any of our clients who need. It also happens to have very fun wallpaper and no gross urinals.
